How much does support cost?
Every assignment is tailored to the needs of the individual, school or trust. As a guide, consultancy and mentoring support starts from £85 per hour, although fees may also be agreed on a daily or fixed-project basis. A clear proposal and fee will always be agreed before any work begins.
What topics can you speak or provide training on?
I can speak and deliver training on a wide range of school business and operational leadership topics, including effective school business operations, financial management, leadership and management development, building effective teams, governance, developing trust central services and the evolving role of school business professionals. Sessions can be tailored to the needs of a conference, trust, school or professional network.
What does mentoring look like?
Mentoring is tailored to the individual and may include regular one-to-one sessions, support through a new appointment, leadership development, career planning, confidence building or help with a particular challenge. Sessions are practical, confidential and grounded in real school business experience. Support can be arranged as a one-off session or as an ongoing programme.
Who do you work with?
I work with maintained schools, academy trusts, school business professionals, operational leaders, governing boards and other organisations supporting the education sector. Support can be provided to individuals, teams or whole organisations, depending on what is needed.
